The Solo Society is for any one who is on their own, either, single, widowed, divorced or separated and any current or retired staff may join, also widows and widowers of former staff.

We meet in B.A. club Pavilion on the first Monday of the month and the meeting starts at 2:00 p.m.

We have outings most months and we also have two holidays each year. Members of the Solo Society attend regular meetings with varied speakers and are able to participate with other members with similar interests on things it is not always easy to do when on your own. The committee of the Solo Society is chaired by Mr Richard Birch and the Treasurer is Miss Win Thompson with an elected committee of 10 members.

The Solo Society is run from Committee members homes although mail can be sent care of the RSA or Retired Support Service offices.
