Newsletter June 2020

The RSA hope you are all well and safe.  This has been a traumatic time for everyone but we would like to assure you that we are still here and working behind the scenes.  This has been an unprecedented time and we hope our members will bear with us we are doing our best.

We are still waiting for the refund from Success Tours for Northern Cyprus but Success are working hard to reimburse many groups for trips so please be patient.  Our members booked received the air fare refund from BA.

So far we have had to cancel Ilfracombe which was to take place in May, this has now been rebooked for May 2021. Also now cancelled is the holiday to Scarborough which was due to take place 27 July to 31st July.  The Delmont Hotel is reopening at the beginning of July but after contacting all those who booked, most wished to delay this until 2021.  It has now been rebooked for 12 July 2021.

Our day trip to Teapot Island was cancelled and this has been rebooked for 21st June 2021.

We have the Cockney Cabaret booked for 1 September and at this moment in time we are not sure whether this will be going ahead.

Krakow also in September is still an unknown. We have paid BA a deposit for the air fare and we have to wait for BA to cancel the flight to receive a refund of this deposit, we still do not know whether BA will be operating this flight.

We have no idea when we will be able to get access to Heston Venue to enable our monthly Association Days to restart.  We know many of you miss the companionship these meetings provide.

We are not able to go into the office at this present time so are working from home but if anyone needs to contact you can ring Norma on 01628 666270 or e mail
